BrakeQuip, founded in Australia in 1998, relocated to the United States in 2002 and settled in Knoxville, TN in 2003, where it introduced its products to hydraulic shops and the agricultural sector. In 2022, BrakeQuip became part of AGS Company Automotive Solutions, and by September 2023, its headquarters moved to Muskegon, Michigan, under AGS’s roof. As part of AGS’s continued growth, BluDot and Motive Products were also acquired, further expanding AGS's product offerings. Today, BrakeQuip distributes its products to over 700 dealers in more than 60 countries worldwide.
